Welcome to SparkTutors! We are delighted to have you with us. Before you begin, please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions. By booking a session with SparkTutors, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Our Services
SparkTutors offers online group tutoring sessions in Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics for GCSE level, KS3 Mathematics and 11+ tuition students. SparkTutors also offer private tuition which you will have to contact to request.

Group Sessions: All sessions are conducted in small groups with a maximum of 5 students.

Platform: We use Microsoft Teams for all our sessions, which may include the use of breakout rooms for interactive learning.

Session Structure: Each tutoring session is 2 hours long.

2. Booking and Payment

Booking: All sessions must be booked in advance through our website. Bookings are subject to availability and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment: Payment for all sessions must be made at the time of booking to secure your place. We accept PayPal and Bankcards.

Pricing:

Standard Rate: Our standard rate is £12 per hour, totalling £24 per 2-hour session.

Introductory Offer: For your first month of sessions, we are pleased to offer a reduced rate of £8 per hour (£16 per 2-hour session). This offer is designed to allow new students to experience our tutoring services

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations by You: We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel a session, we require at least 48 hours' notice.

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice will receive a full refund or credit for a future session.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or non-attendance, will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Cancellations by Us: In the unlikely event that SparkTutors has to cancel a session, you will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for a future session.

4. Student Conduct and Expectations

Punctuality: Please ensure you are logged in and ready to begin the session at the scheduled start time.

Respectful Environment: We are committed to providing a positive and respectful learning environment for all students. Any form of bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Students who fail to adhere to this may be removed from the session without a refund.

Preparation: To get the most out of each session, students are encouraged to come prepared with any relevant materials and questions.

5. Technical Requirements
To participate in our online sessions, you will need:

A stable internet connection.

A device (computer, laptop, or tablet) with a working microphone and camera.

Access to Microsoft Teams.

SparkTutors is not responsible for any technical issues on the client's side.

6. Data Protection and Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information you provide to us will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will only use your information for the purposes of providing our tutoring services.

7. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the best possible educational support, we cannot guarantee specific academic outcomes. Our role is to support and guide the student's learning.

8. Changes to These Terms
SparkTutors reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services will indicate your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
